Westwood Lake Campground Resort is centrally located just 2 km off Highway 19, in a semi-rural area nestled on Mount Benson. It is close to Shopping, Parks, Golf Courses, Lakes and Beaches.

Nanaimo is connected with Vancouver and the mainland by ferries and Air. It is also a large port city on Vancouver Island, with every facility required to serve both the commercial and recreational needs.
Nanaimo is generally known as a gateway to the rest of Vancouver Island. Centrally located, scores of the island's best known destinations are easily within reach.

BY SEA
If you're coming from Vancouver, take either the Tsawwassen ferry to Duke Point (just south of Nanaimo), or the Horseshoe Bay ferry to Departure Bay, near the downtown Nanaimo.

BY AIR
Nanaimo's Regional Airport is about a 35-minute drive south of Westwood Lake Campground Resort. Comox's Airport is about 1.5 hour drive north.

Alternatively, enjoy the spectacular 20 minute flight from downtown Vancouver to Nanaimo by sea plane. Choose from regularly scheduled flights and land at the harbourfront.

BY LAND
From Victoria, Nanaimo is a quick hour-and-a-half drive north on the Trans Canada Highway #1. From Port Hardy, take the Island Highway south to Mud Bay where you connect to the new Inland Island Highway. The trip is between five and six hours. Westwood Lake Campground Resort is conveniently located just off Highways 19 (exit 18). Refer to Mapquest for street directions.

By train, let VIA Rail bring you to destination from downtown Victoria to downtown Nanaimo in approx. 2.5 hours. The Esquimalt and Nanaimo (E&N) Railway runs daily.
